With the process of industrial automation, the intelligent pneumatic valve has been gradually popularized in various industries of pipeline control. Intelligence is mainly embodied in pneumatic valves equipped with intelligent valve locators to control valve switching and precise flow adjustment through computer programs.

Intelligence is manifested in the following aspects:

(1)The pneumatic valve has its own fault diagnosis function to diagnose whether the valve flow regulation is accurate and whether the signal feedback is in place;

(2) The use of pneumatic valves can reduce the product types of the production line, and all use pneumatic valves for intelligent control. Pneumatic valve equipped with intelligent valve positioner can not only easily change the flow characteristics of pneumatic valve, but also improve the control quality of control system. Therefore, the requirements for the flow characteristics of pneumatic valves can be simplified and standardized (for example, only the production line characteristics of pneumatic control valves). The intelligent function module is used to match the characteristics of the controlled object, which greatly reduces the types and varieties of pneumatic valve products and simplifies the manufacturing process of pneumatic valve. In order to reduce the variety of pneumatic valves, domestic manufacturers also produce full-function pneumatic valves. These intelligent methods will continue to improve, and will be tested and recognized in production and the market.

(3)Digital communication of pneumatic valve : Digital communication will be widely used in pneumatic valves. Based on HART communication protocol, some pneumatic valve positioners implement input signal and valve position signal in the same transmission line; Based on the fieldbus technology, the pneumatic valve is combined with the valve positioner and PID control function module to realize the control function at the field level, disperse the risk, and make the control more timely and faster.

(4) Intelligent valve positioner is also called intelligent valve controller. The intelligent valve positioner has all the functions of the valve positioner, and it can improve the dynamic and static characteristics of the pneumatic valve and improve the control accuracy of the pneumatic valve. Therefore, the intelligent valve positioner will become an important auxiliary equipment of pneumatic valve and be widely used in the future.
